NNData Achieves AWS Advanced Technology Partner Status

Achieving APN Advanced/Premier Status is a recognition of the hard work our team pours into the development of NNCompass, and confidence by AWS in our approach to data management for the cloud era. Our ability to orchestrate AWS AI & Machine Learning against data either in the cloud, in hybrid environments or against secured workloads in GovCloud and C2S is a completely new take on data management, combining ETL, data ingest, data preparation, data integration and data streaming components to handle the most difficult enterprise data workflows. Customers can now apply AI/ML against "onprem" or cloud data stores to get answers to their most difficult use cases and problem sets. We look forward to continued work with the AWS teams, and together reaching our goal of bringing machine learning to the masses.

What is AWS?
AWS offers a broad set of global cloud-based products including compute, storage, databases, analytics, networking, mobile, developer tools, management tools, IoT, security, and enterprise applications: on-demand, available in seconds, with pay-as-you-go pricing. From data warehousing to deployment tools, directories to content delivery, over 140 AWS services are available. New services can be provisioned quickly, without the upfront capital expense. This allows our customers to access the NNCompass software when and where they need to.

NNCompass Cloud Computing Deployment Models

Cloud AMI:
Coming soon to the AWS Marketplace, NNCompass will be a fully executable AMI deployed in the AWS cloud. Applications in the cloud have either been created in the cloud or have been migrated from an existing infrastructure to take advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. Cloud-based applications can be built on low-level infrastructure pieces or can use higher level services that provide abstraction from the management, architecting, and scaling requirements of core infrastructure.

A hybrid deployment of NNCompass is a way to connect infrastructure and applications between cloud-based resources and existing resources that are not located in the cloud. The most common method of NNCompass hybrid deployment is between the NNCompass AMI in AWS and existing on-premises data stores (HTTP/HTTPS servers, SQL Databases like Oracle or MySQL) to extend, and grow, an organization's data management infrastructure into the cloud.

GovCloud / C2S:
AWS GovCloud (US) gives government customers and their partners the flexibility to architect secure cloud solutions that comply with: the FedRAMP High baseline, the DOJ’s Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Security Policy, U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Department of Defense (DoD) Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) for Impact Levels 2, 4 and 5, FIPS 140-2, IRS-1075, and other compliance regimes.

From Personally Identifiable Information (PII), sensitive patient medical records, and financial data to law enforcement data, export controlled data and other forms of CUI, AWS GovCloud (US) Regions can help customers address compliance at every stage of their cloud journey.

Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) is the name of the government program and contract vehicle that brings Amazon Web Services (AWS) “over the fence” and into the Intelligence Community (IC). This air-gapped AWS Region on the Top Secret fabric has been operating since 2014 and is exclusively available to the U.S. IC. AWS brings in cutting-edge products and services based in its commercial innovation for IC organizations to utilize as technology grows and changes – and you only pay for what you use.
